When do we use the distributive property? Use the distributive property to express a sum of two whole numbers 1 – 100 with a common factor as a multiple of a sum of two whole numbers with no common factor

Sales Tax You want to buy the following items at an office supply store: desk, $149.99, chair, $69.99, printer, 129.99, copy paper, $39.99, binder, $2.99, poster, $0.25, index cards, $1.29, four-pack of pilot v5 pens, $5.25, sticky notes, $2.49, white out tape, $1.19, and desk calendar, $7.99.
