Presentation transcript:

Variables CW: HW: Warm Up: Experimental Variables Worksheet Exit Ticket HW: 1) None Warm Up Directions: Read the following situations and then write down the Independent and Dependent Variables. Students wanted to test how temperature affects the rate of snow melting. Ms. Bielak wanted to test how different forms of transportation affects travel time. Mrs. Farris wanted to test how different sugar amounts affects the sweetness of wedding cake.

Experimental Variables By your self, copy down the scenario from the Experimental Variables worksheet on a blank piece of paper. Once the scenario is copied down, find and write down the IV, DV and constants.

Variable Exit Ticket Mr. Sutphin wants to know how time of day affects how far he can go on a run. IV: ___________ DV:___________ Constant: ______
