Living things use energy Take in energy from food/ sunlight Metabolism Ingestion; digestion; cellular respiration; excretion
Living things reproduce All living things come from other living things 2 Types: Sexual- requires 2 parents to produce offspring Asexual- 1 parent to produce offspring
Living things grow, develop and die Grow = get larger Develop = change in form (egg-tadpole-frog) Life span/cycle= from birth to death
Living things sense and respond to changes Change that affects an organism = stimulus Ex- Light; gravity Response- change caused by a stimulus Ex-Chill bumps; sweating
