In How Many Days to America: A Thanksgiving Story, refugees come by boat to the United States.

The First Thanksgiving When most people think of pilgrims, this is the picture they have in their minds. These original pilgrims endured many hardships while crossing the Atlantic Ocean to live in America so they could have religious freedom. Throughout history many people have emigrated to America and this continues to this day.
