English 2 - May 3rd Agenda: Notebook TOC Warm-Up: Modern Life Ch. 90-91 Discussion Weebly Instruction Narrative Work Time Homework You Will Need Life of Pi Notebook Writing Implement Narrative draft (digital)

Warm-Up: Modern Life In Chs. 87-91, Pi deals with many things from the modern world: a ship, trash, his writing implements. Are the things listed here helpful for his survival? Explain. The ship nearly sinks Pi’s lifeboat. What message is Martell trying to give us about hope?

Ch. 90-91 Questions to Ponder: Who was the guy with the French accent? WAS there a guy with a French accent? How do we know what is real and what is a hallucination?

Narrative Final Draft Requirements Must be published on a webpage created in Weebly. Must include header image, title, and your name. Must include at least 4 images imbedded in the text. Put a link in the comment box on my webpage to turn in.

Homework: Due Thursday, 5/5 Read up to the end of Ch. 94. Complete a dialectical journal, filling at least 1 page. Focus: The Island (you’ll know when you get there)
