Newspaper Articles GLE OSSLT PREP

Headline and Caption practice Write out headlines and captions for the following pictures. Make sure they connect! Headline: should be catchy, short, brief, written in LARGE FONT Caption: briefly describes what’s SEEN in the picture.

Lead paragraph practice Write a lead paragraph for the following pictures. Lead: first paragraph in a newspaper article, covers the who, what, when and where. Should be 1-2 sentences long.

Quotation practice Provide quotations from 3 people who could have been involved based on the pictures.
