Presentation transcript:

How far from the end of Platform 2 does the stunt man land? A stuntman drives at a constant velocity across Platform 1 (which is 20 m wide and 50 meters tall) in 1.5 seconds. He then drives horizontally off the end of the platform. He lands successfully on Platform 2 (which is 25 meters tall and 115 meters long). The platforms are 15 meters apart. As soon as he lands on Platform 2, he accelerates at a rate of +2 m/s/s before jumping off the end of the Platform 2. How far from the end of Platform 2 does the stunt man land?
