Words with combination -ar Measuring length Shared reading – The Garden Ruby Bridges and George Washington Carver Shadows – Groundhog Day Word Study – ar words like far and barn Word assessment on Feb. 1 Words to know: better, night, pretty, saw, thought, told, turned, window (help your child read these) You can make flashcards for practice Your child needs to know how to spell ar words and words to know words: saw, told, night PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! Homework Monday – Read, Math sheet, write saw, told and night 2 times and use one of the words in a sentence. Tuesday – Read, Math sheet Wednesday – Read, words with -ar sheet Thursday – Read, practice –ar words and words to know Children must have 80% or higher on dojo to participate in the PBIS reward each month!
