Start of the War People needed answers to solve their problems Nazis and Facism Facism-when the government controls the economy, culture and all parts of people’s lives In 1933, Hitler became the dictator of Germany-the ruler who had total control of his country and its people People needed answers to solve their problems German leader, Adolf Hitler, said he could solve Germany’s problems He formed political party called the National Socialists, or the Nazis After World War I, people hoped for happier times BUT, The Great Depression ruined economies around the world
