How does hunger and appetite play an important role in our eating habits? If you STOP eating when you are no longer hungry, you are LESS likely to gain excess weight.

How does excess food energy is stored? Excess dietary fats is easily stored as body fat Excess dietary proteins is also stored as body fat When glycogen stores are FULL, excess carbohydrates are stored as fat.

What is the difference between overweight and obesity? Overweight-being heavy for one’s (your) height. Obesity- having a significant amount of EXCESS body fat, the state of weighing more than 20% above your recommended weight.
