American Literature Tuesday, October 21st Standard 3 and 4 Work time in lab: Finish your multimedia presentation and outline for you book talk. Outlines need to be turned in next class for full credit. When you are finished with that, work on your grammar institution assignment. Gothic Literature Comparison: On a notecard before you leave today, please respond to the following prompt. “Where is Here?”: How is this story gothic? What are the similarities between this story and “The Fall of the House of Usher”? Be specific: You will need to restate the question, answer the question, and use details from the texts (textual evidence). Both stories are on our class website. Book Talks begin next class. Your outline is due at the beginning of class.
