Figure 2 β-oxidation flux measured in fibroblasts of control and VLCAD-deficient patients before (gray square) and after (blackened rhombus) treatment with bezafibrate (400 βM for 48 h). In each experiment, the assays were performed in triplicate. The results are means±SDs from at least three different experiments. For control values, five different healthy individuals were considered.
