For this, we have available to our associates, different resources that allow us to learn and share knowledge with peers, so that there will always be new and better practices to adhere to. ABSTRACT With the aim of promoting good practices in Clinical Engineering in Colombia and bringing the knowledge to all professionals working in hospitals and clinics in the country, the Colombian College of Clinical Engineering (COLCINC) has been created. The foundation of COLCINC was carried out in 2017 by 10 leading clinical engineers in Colombia. As initial results we can highlight the academic forums with topics related to clinical engineering, the creation of the WEB page through which constant interaction is promoted through news publication, answering of questions, academic events, among others MISSION The mission of the Colombian College of Clinical Engineering, is the collection, construction and dissemination of good practices of Clinical Engineering in the Colombian territory. Oriented always to instruct in the understanding of ethics and values, that the professional in Clinical Engineering must follow in the exercise of its work and in a permanent search of methodologies, processes and models, that provide greater security to the patient in each clinical institution VISION Consolidate Clinical Engineering in Colombia as a fundamental professional practice for the safety of patients throughout the national territory, so that all clinical institutions apply comprehensive good practices in hospital technology management.
