CREATE - Choose a topic - Consider the purpose - Consider the audience -Think about what you are curious about or interests you most. -Draft a thesis statement. Gather information from a variety of sources (encyclopedias, websites, people) Is the topic researchable? Refine, revise thesis. Take notes (paraphrase or quote) 5. CREATE 4. SYNTHESIZE 3. EVALUATE the data Write, revise, get feedback Refer to the rubric Additional research if necessary Edit Type and submit essay & Works Cited page -Are your sources reliable and credible? -Do you have enough evidence – facts, examples, data - to prove your point?
