SUBJECT: Street Art Perspective How is it made? Math in art

Perspective In the context of vision and visual perception, perspective is the way in which objects appear to the eye.

How is it made? Click on the pictures to watch a quick video.

Math in art The mathematician Jerry P. King describes mathematics as an art, stating that “the keys to mathematics are beauty and elegance and not dullness and technicality”. One mathematical connection with art is that some artists have needed to use a mathematical way of thinking to carry out their artistic vision. Among such artists were Luca Pacioli, Leonardo da Vinci , Albrecht Dürer, and M.C. Escher. Another connection is that some mathematicians have become artists, often while pursuing their mathematics. Some art or pieces of art consist of things that are pleasing to the eye because they are symmetrical in a mathematical sense.
