Things to recycle Recyclable items

Things to trash TRASH!!!!!

Other things to trash WHITE paper towels Anything (you can but you shouldn’t)

Why dumps are bad When trash that should be composted gets thrown in the landfill instead, it releases methane in the air which is a Greenhouse gas and harms the environment. It’s not good for the trash juices to mix with the food scraps. We should use those food scraps to make soil instead! Then it won’t release methane!

We are running out of room for landfills! Landfills are a problem, not only because of methane, but also because we are running out of space for trash. If we take out some of the compost in the trash, we can save space. Also, the trash in the landfills sometimes pollutes our environment and water. We should reduce how much trash goes in landfills and composting is a really great way!
