How To be Safe On Stage ?

Introduction

Safety in the theater means that the crews, cast and the audiences are kept safe from all possible hazards. Learning how to work safe in the theater is very important. Most accidents can be avoided by replacing unsafe habits with safe practices.

Safety in the theatre extends to crews, casts, and audience members as well as its environment. This includes performance and rehearsal spaces, shops and other work spaces.

General Safety Regulation / Injury Prevention ● develop safe work practices and procedures, ● enforce health and safety rules, ● stop work activities that pose imminent danger, ● ensure routine documented safety inspections occur, ● provide or coordinate safety training
