Customer Requirements/Product Selection Kids between the ages of 5 and 18 Brainstorming ideas on kids toys; wanted to make something simple yet fun Simple design lead to a compact way of entertaining
Conceptual Design initial design: use a velcro target and ball that would launch from a cannon and stick to velcro We chose it by keeping the design simple using pvc pipe and wood to build stand ball and velcro attached to it target with velcro covering it
Actual Design . Eliminated the Use of velcro from the design. Treated the target like pachinko, where the ball has to fall into a particular pocket in order to score points
Customer feedback and Results Customer really enjoyed playing with our toy It was fun and easy to use Quickly pick up and play; also quickly put down and come to it later
