Healthy Eating Habits Observations I noticed that I eat more healthy over weekdays than the weekends. I eat more vegetables such as eggplants and beans during the week. I think this is because in the weekend we are more relaxed so we don’t think about our choices. On the weekend I eat more junk food such as chips and pop which is only okay sometimes.
Active Living Observations During the week I am more active than I am during the weekend. I get more active times during lunch time at school by playing sports such as basketball. I don’t get that much active time during weekends because I am on my devices at home.
One change to healthy eating One change that I am going to try to do to my eating habits is to eat dinner earlier. If I eat dinner early, I think then my body will be able to burn of calories quicker and digest the food that I am eating. I can also sleep a better because I won’t sleep right after I eat and feel full.
One change to active living One change that I will make to my active living is trying to get more active time during the weekend. If I get more active time, then I can be more fit and I can clear some of my thoughts in my head. I can also improve my skills in some of the sports I play.

Healthy Eating conclusion I found that when I ate my dinner earlier than before, I went to sleep feeling less full and went to sleep quicker. I also woke up in the morning feeling less tired and felt like I had more energy. This is good because if I have more energy in school I will be able to focus more in school.
Active living conclusion I didn’t notice much of a difference in my change to my active living but I do think it was still good that I tried it because then I will know what is making my body healthier and what is not.
Recommendations For healthy eating I recommend that 12-13 year olds eat dinner early like I did. I think they should do this because so they can get a better sleep by not feeling too full before they sleep. This means that in the morning kids will have more energy and focus better in school. For active living it is recommended that 12-13 year old kids get at least 1-1 ½ of active time playing sports or other activities. This will help your body stay in shape and burn of calories that you got from your food.
