THE WATER CYCLE By Emily Natalier

CYCLE 1 Transpiration is where the moisture comes up from the ground and into the sky. Transpiration is were the water table gets wet, but not saturated and evaporates onto the land surface and then transpirates into the air.

CYCLE 2 Condensation is the process by which water vapour turns into liquid water. This picture shows the condensation is progressed and already turned into liquid.

CYCLE 3 Precipitation is water released from clouds in the form of rain, sleet, snow or hail. Most precipitation falls in rain. The clouds floating over head contain water vapour and cloud droplets, which are called drops of condensed water.

CYCLE 4 Surface run off is where the rain runs down the mountains and runs in the creeks or rivers. This causes the rivers to over flow. The water evaporates and becomes very cold.

CYCLE 5 Accumulation is not much different to the surface run off because it still runs off into a river or a creek. It also is where the water can run off anywhere it likes, because nothing is stopping it.

CYCLE 6 Evaporation occurs by which water changes to a gas or vapour. Evaporation can turn into many things. Evaporation is were the water rises and goes up into the sky.

CYCLE 7 Condensation is twice in the cycle because the first one is where the moisture is up in the sky. The second one is where the clouds form and make rain fall or snow. There are many different forms it can make but these are some of the forms.

CYCLE 8 Precipitation is when the rain starts to get heavier. Precipitation is also very good to have because if we didn’t have that the rivers wouldn’t have water in them.

CYCLE 9 It does the cycle many times a day because to get all the nutrition and minerals we need to survive. By Emily Natalier
