Third Grade Fridge Facts Dates to Know: *March 11: End of 3rd quarter *March 24: Early Release *March 25: Good Friday-No School *March 28-April 1: SPRING BREAK Third Grade Fridge Facts March 7, 2016 What We’re Learning: Reading and Language: In order to extend our learning about Pufflings, students will be reading and researching more about this interesting bird in order to make connections to our basal story. In science, the classes will be integrating their knowledge about Chrome books to record living and non-living labs as well as keeping a check on those seed labs Writing: Students will be cultivating their curiosity as they explore nonfiction and learn interesting ways to communicate informational nonfiction writing. Math: This week students will be building polygons from triangles and naming polygons according to how many sides they have. We will also explore the relationships among parallelograms, rectangles, square, rhombuses and trapezoids.
