How did WW2 begin? Nazi Germany was claiming more territory in eastern Europe. The Allied Forces ( Britain, France, Russia) http://stormingjuno.com/#/realStories/navy

War productions After the great depression, The second world war saved the economy. Because most of European industry were being bombed. The allied forces relied on Canadian production of weapons and supplies for the war, ( bullets, guns, clothing) This also created demand for raw materials such as iron and steel.

Women in the work force The majority of able bodied men were conscripted( forced into service). Which meant that women had to fill their position in order to have production operating at full capacity.

Post war boom Economic prosperity continued during the post war years 1945-1960 adesh The men that returned from war started familes –the baby boom began. The tertiary sectory grew a great deal, standard of living went up and people were earning more money and could therefore consume more goods and services.
