Graduation Requirements
2 for 1 Students who take CTE-equivalent courses may satisfy two graduation requirements (dual requirement) while earning either .5 or 1.0 credit for a single course. The purpose of this State-wide policy is to create flexibility for students to choose more elective courses or to address other graduation requirements. If a specific course is available for an equivalency or dual credit it will be noted in the course description and in the Course by Department index at the back of the Course Description book.
Four Year Plan
Now it’s time to plan your SENIOR year!
Scheduling Considerations ● Must have a course schedule that fits your post-high-school plan ● No more than one TA, release, or P.E. per semester ● 1.0 credit of TA during four years ● Running Start/Sno-Isle students: Give a full SHS alternate schedule on the back of the blue scheduling form ● Did you fail or receive a waiver for WA State History? Remember you need to take another Social Studies class ● NCAA student athletes need to let their counselors know
Everyone Needs to Remember to Sign Up Wisely ● You will be held to your pre- registration selections ● Remember that your elective and alternate selections may be on your final schedule so be willing to take the courses you choose ● Read the descriptions of EVERY course you select!
