Comparing the Seasons Part 2

Daily Objective Daily changes in temperature, precipitation, and weather type can be observed, compared, and predicted. Each season has a typical weather pattern that can be observed, compared, and predicted. The sun can be seen only in the day. The sun heats the earth during the day.

Vocabulary Total Precipitation Season Sun

Introduction Today we are going to investigate objects in this bag. Lets see what's in here. We have a straw, a feather, a styrofoam ball, a cotton ball, and a balloon. Is there anything else in the bag? Air

Observations and Discussions Can you move things from place to place? Can you feel air? If you fill the plastic bag with air can the bag be smashed? What is air?

Vocabulary Review Total Precipitation Season Sun

What We Learned The most rain fell in the __________. __________ was the coldest season. In the __________, we had the most sunny days.
