Apply knowledge of human behavior and the social environment. Competency # 7 Apply knowledge of human behavior and the social environment.

Practice Behaviors 7.1 Utilize conceptual frameworks to guide the processes of assessment, intervention and evaluation I will use the person-centered framework to engage and make individual care plans for each client. Upon arrival each new client sits down with a shelter advocate and make a care plan. Which consists of goals, needs assessments, support groups, strengths and weaknesses etc.

Practice Behaviors Cont. 7.2 Critique and apply knowledge to understand person and environment I will evaluate each client on an individual basis. Each assessment and intake will be based solely on the client’s situations I will apply the core competencies to my work at the women’s shelter along with the NASW code of ethics I will continue to seek current information and policies that will be helpful to the clients for their advancement and well being.

Thank you
