NAPAC19 First SPCC Meeting The MC-4 Hadron Accelerators Invited Program Sarah Cousineau and Sergei Nagaitsev January 17-18th E. Lansing, Michigan

Selection Methodology Gave a composite score for each talk: 2 pts for a 1st priority vote 1 pt for a second priority vote Combined scores for duplicate titles Checked for any good opening plenary possibilities Chose final and back up lists of talks and speakers – mostly based on scoring with some tweaks Checked for balanced distribution: Talk type, speaker age, gender, number institutions, etc.

Plenary Suggestion Three talks were submitted on FRIB status: ”Commissioning of the First Segment of the FRIB linac” “Status of the FRIB Linac: Installation and Commissioning” “Status of the FRIB Project” The combined score was the highest score in MC-4 We suggest this as a plenary because: FRIB is hosting the conference The talk is very timely; conference just after first linac segment commissioning
