Warm-Up Quick Write: Think of a time that someone thought part of your culture was strange, or that you thought someone else’s was weird or different. Explain what happened.

Today’s Tasks 1) Finish “Body Ritual Among the Nacirema.” (6 questions about the text, and 6 reading reflection). Turn in your completed handout AND your annotated article for a grade. Please make sure ALL responses are written in complete sentences and that you answer every part. 2) Vocabulary Quiz #1: Choose 10 of these terms and define them in your own words. Write one sentence showing that you understand the importance of the word. You may complete additional words for 3 bonus points each (do extras on separate paper and attach). Turn in your work for a grade. *NOTE FOR BOTH ASSIGNMENTS: If any papers turned in have identical answers, then both are zeros. Please do YOUR work!
