Circuit Predictors Lab Review

Circuit 1: Lights (Yes)

Place a star on the battery and bulb to show the parts that must be connected.

Why do think circuit 3 did not work? Circuit 3 did not work because it was not a closed circuit. Glass is an insulator, so the electrons could not follow out of the light bulb. The side of the screw base of the light bulb would need to touch the battery for this circuit to work.

Why do you think circuit 8 did not work? Circuit 8 did not work because the two batteries has their negative charges facing each other, so their charges were repelling. To fix the set up simply switch one of the batteries.
