What is a Catastrophe? A catastrophe is a major event that causes a large amount of damage. Catastrophes affect ecosystems and usually cause damage that harms the ecosystem. Catastrophes affect people too.

Types of Catastrophes There are 2 types of catastrophes: Weather-related Geological-related

Weather-related Catastrophes A weather-related catastrophe is any catastrophe that is caused by the weather. What types of weather do you know of that might be damaging or even catastrophic?
