Higher Level Question Examples What is the moral of the story? What is the overall theme of the story? Why do you think the author wrote this story? Was ______ worth the costs? Explain your answer. Did _______ behave appropriately? Why?

Remember… When you get into groups your question should have multiple answers You should be able to find textual evidence support your answer (inference) You need to discuss each question as a group and write your group’s response in a short paragraph at the bottom of the page To demonstrate the procedures that you developed for small groups
