Bellringer: Dec. 1 Question: What do you notice about the set up of the desks? How is it different from how you left the room on Thursday?

Agenda: Quiz on “A Rose for Emily” Finish “Possibility of Evil” – if you didn’t already finish it. Seize the Day – notes for chapter 5/6 and through the end of the novel are due today. Begin brainstorming the answer to this question: In the final scene – is he drowning or is it baptism? Think about what Foster said in his chapter “If She Comes Up, It’s Baptism.”

Homework: Decide what a theme of the novel Seize the Day within the topic of perception and reality. Look for your evidence within the text. Be ready to discuss next class and to write next class.
