Agenda: Set up Revolutionary War Timeline Work time

Revolutionary War Timeline: Create an illustrated timeline of the Revolutionary War. You must include AT LEAST TEN events and AT LEAST FIVE people on your timeline. For each event, write a date, heading, short description, and small picture detailing what happened. Events: Include the two events in bold and choose five others that you think are the most important. Be able to defend why you chose those eight events. People: You may include the people as part of an event or create a separate event on your timeline.

Revolutionary War Timeline: EVENTS: PEOPLE: Boston Tea Party End of the French and Indian War Lexington and Concord Stamp Act Battle of Saratoga Quartering Act Treaty of Paris, 1783 Boston Massacre Intolerable Acts Proclamation of 1763 Townshend Acts Declaration of Independence Battle of Yorktown First Continental Congress George Washington Paul Revere Thomas Jefferson Lord Cornwallis King George III Patrick Henry Ben Franklin Samuel Adams John Hancock Abigail Adams John Adams Eliza Hamilton Alexander Hamilton

Creating your timeline: Place the centimeter side of your ruler on the black line. With your ruler, make a mark EVERY THREE CENTIMETERS. Each line will represent TWO YEARS. The first line will be labeled 1762, and the last line will be labeled 1784.
