Competency 7 Apply knowledge of human behavior and the social environment.

7.1 Utilize conceptual frameworks to guide the processes of assessment, intervention, and evaluation I will evaluate all dynamics of individual cases. In this field we must recognize that no 2 cases are alike and that they must all be handled uniquely.

7.2 critique and apply knowledge to understand person and environment During my meetings with clients, I try to examine all of the factors that may contribute to the effectiveness of our meeting. For example, since I work with the elderly I may take into account the time of the day that I visit them. Often times with this population it can be like dealing with 2 separate people depending on what time of the day it is.
