Taking Care of Some Class Business Extra Credit Assignment Targets Adjusted Schedule

Extra Credit Exploring Polygons and Their Specific Characteristics For each polygon listed in the chart, draw or find an example of each of the following (Make sure to mark any congruent sides and angles): an equiangular polygon that is not equilateral an equilateral polygon that is not equiangular a regular polygon *If not possible, write not possible. Place each type of polygon on a single page. (Example: all triangle(s) on one page, all quadrilateral(s) on the second page, etc…) *Points will be given for correct answers and neatness of display.

Extra Credit Example Triangle (1 page): Example of an equiangular triangle that is not equilateral Not Possible Example of an equilateral triangle that is not equiangular ??? Example of a regular triangle

Extra Credit Example Hexagon (1 page): Example of an equiangular hexagon that is not equilateral Example of an equilateral hexagon that is not equiangular Example of a regular hexagon

Targets – Preparing you for the Test on Monday On the presentation day, YOU and your partner are responsible for teaching 1-3 problems from the chapter targets to the rest of the class. You will not know which problem until the presentation day so make sure to do ALL of the targets beforehand The rest of the class will ask you questions about the problem and you take on the role of the teacher You will be graded on your use of mathematical language, correctness, and clarity of your presentation

Schedule Adjusted Due Monday 12/14/09 at the end of the hour: Extra Credit Organized Binder All late homework due!! (Final Day for Credit)
