Quotation Webbing in The Crucible

CONNOTATION CHALLENGE QUOTATION WEBBING CONNOTATION CHALLENGE “I have a sense of heat John and yours has drawn me to my window” [Abigail to John]  Copy down the quotation.  How many connotations can you find in 3 minutes?

Quotation Webbing Using the play, find a quotation which bears similarity to the previous quotation but refers to John and Elizabeth’s relationship. Create a link line from the first quotation and add the new one. Outline the reason for the similarity on the link line. Annotate the new quotation with connotations * connotation * link line FIRST QUOTATION: “I have a sense for heat John And your has drawn me to my Window”. SECOND QUOTATION * connotation * connotation
