Act II Crucible Questions

For each act of The Crucible, you will complete analysis questions over what you read. You must use complete sentences, supporting quotes, and in-depth analysis for each question, unless specified. Longer responses are specified in the assignment.

1. Using at least two character archetypes and supporting quotes, describe how Proctor’s character is further developed in Act II. 2. Using at least two character archetypes and supporting quotes, describe how Hale’s character is further developed in Act II. 3. How does Mary Warren change over the course of Act II? What motivates those changes? Predict what will happen with Mary and the Proctors. (no textual support needed).
