1/2 1. Bellringer 2. Watch Anne Frank movie 3. Turn in projects 4. READ Night and ANSWER questions Bellringer: current grammar and grammar review Students will watch the Anne Frank movie. Students will turn in their monster/truth projects. Students will refresh themselves on what happened in Night by going back and answering some questions on the book.

1/3 1. Bellringer 2. READ AR books 3. REVIEW Night by completing a Goosechase using the book 4. READ and ANALYZE Night 5. READ, ANALYZE, and ANNOTATE an article on the Holocaust 6. READ and ANALYZE short passages for text structure and author's purpose Bellringer: figurative language and analogy Students will read their AR books for 15 minutes. Students will review Night by completing a Goosechase on the book. Students will continue to read and analyze Night for central idea and summary. They will begin to look at the text structure and purpose of the book. Students will read and annotate an article while looking for information on the text structure, author's purpose, summary, and central idea. Students will practice identifying text structure and author's purpose with Quizizz passages.
