We start our excursion from the Technical Secondary School where Yuri Gagarin studied from 1951 till 1955. The Technical Secondary School is named after Yuri Gagarin. There is a museum of the first cosmonaut of the world.

Let’s go down Babushkin Vzvoz and we are at the monument to Yuri Gagarin which is on the Embankment of Cosmonauts. The monument was built in 1995. This is a three meters figure of Yuri Gagarin who is looking at the Volga. The Volga was his favourite river.

It is worth to walk along the Embankment 0f Cosmonauts. Its building started in 1959. In 1962 it was given a name of Cosmonauts in honour of Yuri Gagarin.

Let’s walk up Moskovskaya street and take the first turning to the right. We see the Historical Museum of our city. There’s a room devoted to Yuri Gagarin.

We think it’s worth to visit Chernyshevski Square and Lipki Park We think it’s worth to visit Chernyshevski Square and Lipki Park. They were favourite places of Yuri Gagarin.
