Explanation Repeat a key word in a modifying phrase attached to the main clause You may repeat it exactly or in another form Ex: breath may become breathtaking You may vary the pattern by using a dash instead of a comma

Notes Be sure the word is worth repeating Be sure that the attached phrase with the repeated word is not a complete sentence
