Presentation transcript:

After: Reflection questions for discussion Why did the author choose to have a girl with a doll follow Scrooge around throughout the play? What is her significance? Explain the significance of the boy and girl, Ignorance and Hunger. What was causing ignorance and hunger in 19th century England? What causes it today? What, in your opinion, was the single most pivotal moment in Scrooge’s past that made him into the miserly grouch that we see in the beginning of the play? Identify one moment and explain why you believe this impacted the adult he became. Aside from the elements of fantasy in the play, how likely do you believe it is for someone to have a complete change of heart? Make connections to your experiences or other texts in order to justify your argument.
