What must I do to progress to Certificate Level What must I do to progress to Certificate Level? A guide for Foundation Level students

In order to pass Foundation Level and become eligible to progress to Certificate Level, you must normally: get an aggregate mark of 40 or higher in each of your blocks of study* (see next slide for more clarification); AND for each block, pass assignments weighted at over 50% towards the aggregate mark for the block; pass any “Qualifying Components” assignments or groups of assignments that your subjects require you to pass. gain a mark of F+ or higher for all formal assessments.

*Although you NORMALLY need an aggregate mark of 40 or higher in each block at Foundation Level if may be possible for you to progress to Level C if you have a block aggregate of 39. This only applies to the subject you are NOT going to carry on with in Level C, and you must have met all of the other criteria mentioned on the previous slide.
