Presentation transcript:

End of the year field trip: Elevate! 1/22/19-1/25/19 We are . . . S B U E S E Y B Please make sure your student is dressed appropriately as the chilly temperatures are here! Sometimes it can be chilly in the classroom, too, so a school colored sweater would be great for students to have. I have seen navy blue button-downs at Walmart. No zippers, please.  School spirit wear sweatshirts are also available for purchase. They are $13. In reading, we have moved on to a series called “I Survived…”. Currently we are reading “I Survived the Shark Attacks of 1916”. I Survived series tells stories of young people and their resilience and strength in the midst of unimaginable disasters. For the next few weeks, we will also be focusing on writing persuasive pieces. In math, we have moved on to fractions! Keep practicing those addition and subtraction facts at home. Any two-step word problems are great for the students to focus on, as well. End of the year field trip: Elevate! Field trip must be earned by students. Students with A/B behavior may attend (from Oct. 22nd and on). Students may have no more than 1 major and/or 2 minors, and NO suspensions. School Information: I can be reached via email (jenna.douglas@psd150.org) and Mr. Blacet at Jeff.Blacet@psd150.org, or by phone. 309.672.6518 If calling, please leave a message with our secretary and we will return your call as soon as possible. Uniforms: Bottoms: black, navy or khaki/tan; solid color socks or tights. Tops: white, light blue, dark blue, black. Shirts must be solid color with sleeves and collar. NO hoods. NO jackets.
