Lesson 4.6 Angle Constructions pp. 150-153

Objectives: 1. To review the qualities of good construction. 2. To identify the procedure for bisecting an angle. 3. To identify the procedure for copying an angle.

Quality constructions require: 1. Sharp pencil points. 2. Crisp arc marks that look like an eyelash. 3. Tic marks on lines and segments to locate points.

Quality constructions require: 4. A backing page or piece of tagboard to keep the fixed point of the compass in the paper. 5. Large enough constructions that the compass points do not have to be close together.
