Multiple Intelligences “It’s not how smart we are it’s how we are smart.”, said Howard Gardner.

What are Multiple Intelligences? Dictionary Answers: Intelligence:capacity for learning, reasoning, understandi ng, and similar forms of mental activity; aptitude in grasping truths, relations hips, facts, meanings, etc. Multiple: more than one of something; many Multiple Intelligences are the eight (multiple) ways people think or learn (intelligence).

The 8 Multiple Intelligences The 8 different ways people think

The 8 different intelligences Kinesthetic Visual/Spatial Logical/Mathematical Verbal/Linguistic Naturalistic Intrapersonal Interpersonal Musical

Kinesthetic One of the Multiple Intelligences

Kinesthetic Intelligence This intelligence is the ability of learning with your body easier. Example: Instead of READING or LISTENING to a story you would UNDERSTAND the story EASIER and ENJOY it MORE if you acted it out as a play. Someone with this intelligence could be an athlete, gym coach, OR even YOU!!

Interpersonal and Intrapersonal Two of the Multiple Intelligences

Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Intra-in The knowledge of knowing yourself more than others. Inter-out The knowledge of knowing and caring for others more than yourself. Intrapersonal Interpersonal

Verbal/Linguistic One of the Multiple Intelligences

Verbal/Linguistic Verbal/Linguistic is the intelligence of learning better with words. Example: Instead of REMEMBERING what to get at the store it would be EASIER to WRITE a list to take with you.

Naturalistic One of the Multiple Intelligences

Naturalistic Intelligence Naturalistic intelligence is the knowledge of nature and science. Example: You might enjoy nature and animal science more than math or other subjects.

Logical/Mathematical One of the Multiple Intelligences

Logical/Mathematical This is the intelligence of solving problems logically and mathematically. Example: Instead of using CHARTS AND GRAPHS(visual techniques) on a test to make the problem easier you would solve the equation in your MIND.

Musical Intelligence One of the Multiple Intelligences

Musical Intelligence You can read music, write music, and perform music easily. Example: You remember phone numbers in a EASIER when singing it in a rhythm.

Visual/Spatial One of the Multiple Intelligences

Visual/Spatial Intelligence If you're Visually Gifted you learn best with pictures, you are artistic, and you're good at explaining how pictures look. Example: You would be able to solve a problem that says: “How many sides does a cube have?”, easier and faster if you could hold a cube and count its sides.

BYE!! That’s all!!!!!
