One child Children in Our City Santa Clara Unified School District 26,000 children call the City of Santa Clara home 52% of Santa Clara families speak a language other than English at home Santa Clara Unified School District Over 15,000 students Over 6,00 students are eligible to receive free or reduced lunches Of 3rd graders, 54% are proficient in math by grade level Of 7th Graders, 33.9% are overweight or obese There is 1 school counselor for every 992 students www.kidsdata.org
