Engineering & Physics Division The role of EPD. Provide centralized Engineering and Physics expertise matrixed to LCLS Directorate activities. Establish and maintain standards for those services. Maintain and Control the LCLS Configuration. Track LCLS availability and assess risk.

Summary The Engineering & Physics Division provides matrixed expertise and standards to LCLS efforts. The mechanical engineering staff is >half committed to LUSI. Additional people are being brought in. Additional EPD support for LUSI in Planning & Installation. Support will be given to meet ARRA advanced schedules.
