Results of the pilot session: Guide and Training Manual “All on Board” Budapest, March 13th 2018

Participants 6 organizations present (5 VET schools from the Basque Country + 1 from Sweden) 5 VET teachers + 2 guiders working with people with special needs.

Contents 3 parts: Reflection on inclusion + presentation of the Guide Discussion on guider´s skills + presentation of some tools included in the manual “All on board” Visit to Otxarkoaga VET school

Evaluation. Experience of the session “Interesting to hear and learn from other schools how they work the subject” “I really liked the process and the guidance was perfect!” “It was interesting seeing another school and how they work in their daily environment. The discussion was really good too”. “Very good organization, interesting and useful. Excellent guidance!”. “Good, good rhythm and good explained” “It has been a very good experience” “Very interesting, well conducted”

Evaluation. Parts more and less helpful “It was very helpful the video shown and the discussion which followed”. “I really found interesting the “guider´s” skills for an inclusive education and the part about positive pedagogy”. “The video shown was really great and inspiring. Positive pedagogy was really interesting and it would´ve been better to have more of it”. “The most helpful was the visit to the school and the presentation of the Guide” “The most helpful was the part about positive pedagogy” “I enjoyed the group reflexion. The definition of inclusion was the less interest part as I was already familiar with the concept”.

Evaluation. Knowledge gained “I have bigger understanding about the Spanish education system” “I´ve learnt from other´s experience”. “I have a bigger understanding of the Spanish system”. “Positive pedagogy” “Steps to follow to implement a positive pedagogy” “Knowledge about the existence of positive pedagogy”

Evaluation: Are IOs helpful? “It could be, although not every action will have the same reaction”. “Yes, I think it would be helpful but it requires that everyone works with it, not only a couple of teachers” “Yes, especially with students with special needs”. “Yes, at all levels of the school” “I truly think yes, because they have been the fruit of a deep reflexion among different VET schools” “Yes, specially to make teachers reflect on their daily work”
