Status/plans for the development of small scale lab. experiments

Present Facility 20  12 

Ongoing Project Mechanisms of lunar dust adhesion to surfaces (collaboration with Ball Aerospace & Tech. Corp.) Substrate (untreated, treated and coated) preparation (Ball Aerospace). Adhesion between JSC-1 simulants with various sizes and substrates in air (Ball Aerospace). Contact charging measurements related to image force (CU’s plasma lab.).

Ongoing Project (Continuing) Dust adhesion in vacuum (CU’s plasma lab). Setup for centrifuge measurement
