Presentation transcript:

Join Christian Aid in taking part in the UK’s longest-running fundraising week!

Right now… Two-thirds of people forced from home are still in their own country. They are seeking safety but unwilling or unable to leave. They have been forced to leave their homes due to conflict, flooding, drought and fear. Torn from their homes, their families and their communities, displaced people are among the most vulnerable to poverty and exploitation in the world. Christian Aid believes that all people should be protected from harm and have a chance to rebuild their lives.

Is this fair? How can you help? RIGHT NOW - More than 65 million (approximate population of the UK) people are fleeing from conflict and crises in countries including Syria, Yemen and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Forced out by the darkness of violence and fear, they're searching for refuge, safety and human dignity. How can you help? Keep them in your thoughts. Raise money with charitable organisations. Find out whether there are refugees within your local communities.
