Summary Learning management systems are powerful tools A great online program is based on combination of technology, content, and support services There are good resources (knowledge and content) available to help you develop your online programs if needed Programs will always be evolving so get started an adjust along the way

The LMS path forward involves three phases from strategy to implementation I. Define Online Strategy? 2. Complete Online LMS Comparison & Selection 3.Implement Online LMS How large is market potential? What is 1-3 year end game (revenue, outcomes, etc)? What is role of online (vs. campus) LMS? How to best initiative a pilot? What are scale considerations? How to best support individualized course requirements? Support academic and motivational challenges Example Issues: Online Market Opp & Size Profiles Vision for Online LMS Trade-offs Pilot Course Scale & Roll-out What are proven alternatives/options?
